YOU'RE IN.
WELCOME.

This is the partner hub for B&D Moves, a community-led movement built with the borough. Schools, providers, youth workers, residents: this is yours. No design skills needed.

01

Make
movement
normal.

Not a campaign you opt into. Something already happening on your street, this week, near you.

02

Make it
local.

Eastbrook Moves. Marks Gate Moves. B&D Lëviz. The naming system is the distribution system.

03

Make it
social.

People didn't ask for sport. They asked for somewhere to go, something to do, people to be with.

B&D doesn't feel modern or old fashioned. It feels like now.

02 / USE OUR STUFF

Open
in Canva.
Done.

Templates organised by what you're actually doing, not by file type. Click, duplicate, swap the words, post. Logo, colours and accessible contrast are locked so it always looks like B&D Moves.

Locked logo. Locked colours. Locked contrast. Everything else is yours: swap the words, the photos, the place names.

03 / CAMPAIGN BUILDER

Pick three
things.
Get a kit.

Tell us who it's for, where it'll live, and what you want it to do. We'll point you at the right templates, the right words, and a real example to copy from.

04 / REAL EXAMPLES

Raw.
Bold.
Built by the
people.

Typography-led. Cropped photography. Slight rotation. Layered frames. Imperfect, because the borough is real and so are we.

06 / BRAND BASICS

Three
colours.
One voice.

The bare minimum to know if you're making something yourself. Lime as a beacon. Black for impact. Paper for breathing room. Talk like you're inviting a mate, short, real, no pressure.

YES.
Lime as the room

Use lime as a flood. The brand should feel like turning a corner and finding your team.

YES.
Black for the punch

Black blocks hold the headlines. White type on black for max contrast and accessibility.

EASY.
Paper for the page

Off-white paper softens dense type and gives long-form content room to breathe.

07 / HOW WE BUILT THIS

With the
borough,
not for it.

This brand wasn't designed in a studio and dropped on Barking & Dagenham. It was shaped through co-design with schools, residents, youth groups and local providers.

PHASE 01

Listening

School workshops at Eastbrook. Resident interviews on six estates. Sessions with health and wellbeing partners. We didn't bring a brief, we brought ears.

complete
PHASE 02

Reframing

Belonging before participation. Movement before sport. The strategy reframes activity around community, identity and connection.

complete
PHASE 03

Co-designing

Type, colour, naming and tone tested with the people who'll see it on noticeboards, on bus stops, on socials. If they didn't feel ownership, we changed it.

complete
PHASE 04

Rolling out

Local variants going live across schools and community hubs. Sonic identity in production. Films and stamps shipping every week.

PHASE 05

Listening, again

This site is a living document. Every quarter we measure adoption, check the language still fits, and update what isn't working.
